LEVERAGE!!!
Like many of you out there, I’m a pretty busy person. I try to balance a single person household with a solo law practice. It isn’t easy. I love reading and thinking. I’m not so great at taking action. Therefore, I clutter and procrastinate.
I am creating this blog as a public commitment to “live with leverage.” I am using this as a work in progress as I strive to improve at getting more done in less time. I don’t intend to use a single methodology, but I will heavily utilize the Pareto Principle (”The 80/20 Rule”) and incorporate materials from Mark Joyner, (“Simpleology”), Brian Tracy (”Focal Point”), David Allen (“Getting Things Done”), and Tim Ferris (”The Four Hour Work Week”) among others.
Feel free to follow along, or better yet, join the Journey.

Hi Lazar,
Long time, no talk. How are you? Have been reading your blog and felt compelled to post this question. Hope you had a blessed Shabbat.
If living with leverage is about living your best life…working “smart” not just hard…”quality vs quantitiy…..maximizing all the goodness in a 24 hour period….How does a busy professional….or anyone employed full time, find the time to get 8 hours sleep, exercise regularly, run errands, grocery shop, cook, clean up, spend time with friends locally on the phone or face to face, and complete tasks from the “9-5″ (ha-ha) job like correcting/planning/grading as in my case as an educator…. AND find the time to communicate electronically via the web…..It amazes and mystifies me how much time, in general, people are devoting to electronic connection (s).
Sometimes I feel like I’m missing out….but then the wisdom of the saying that it’s good to know one’s limitations and strengths is powerful…..and that the power of saying “no” can also serve you.
My life in LA is very rich…on many levels. This question has been lurking in my head and I thought I’d flesh it out. Would be great to hear from you …and your insight to my profound thoughts and questions!
And no, haven’t been to Wine Expo lately….
Best,
Melissa (Gila)
